Vietnam’s exports of computers, electrical products, spare-parts and components thereof saw a decrease in July 2025, reaching $9,001,729,731, a -2.89 percent decrease compared to June 2025, according to the latest data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
Despite this month-on-month decline, the year-to-date total for this product category stood at $56,711,109,853.
In July 2025, the top five destinations by dollar value for Vietnam’s exports of computers, electrical products, spare-parts and components thereof were:
USA
The USA was the top destination in July, with export values reaching $3,740,635,966.
This represents a -5.17 percent month-on-month decrease from June.
The USA’s year-to-date total for these exports stands at $22,238,640,053, accounting for 39.21 percent of all YTD exports in this category.
China
China followed as the second-largest destination, with July exports valued at $1,324,772,091.
This figure indicates a -16.69 percent month-on-month decrease.
China’s year-to-date total for these exports is $9,526,116,782, representing 16.80 percent of the total YTD exports for this product category.
Hong Kong
Hong Kong secured the third position in July with exports totaling $1,029,922,874.
This indicates a -1.27 percent month-on-month decrease.
Its year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s exports of computers, electrical products, spare-parts and components thereof is $5,728,748,797, making up 10.10 percent of the total YTD exports.
South Korea
South Korea contributed $589,415,000 worth of these products in July.
Notably, South Korea experienced a -11.16 percent month-on-month decrease.
South Korea’s year-to-date total for these exports is $4,710,080,951, accounting for 8.31 percent of the total YTD exports for this product.
Netherlands
The Netherlands rounded out the top five export destinations with $321,136,932 in July exports.
This country saw a 37.75 percent month-on-month increase.
The Netherlands’ year-to-date total for these exports is $1,758,973,637, representing 3.10 percent of the total YTD exports for this category.
