Chinese tourist arrivals in Vietnam grow by 11.11 percent in November

Vietnam welcomed 339,399 tourists from China in November, marking a month-on-month increase of 33,935 visitors or 11.11 percent, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Tourism.

Year-to-date, Chinese tourist arrivals reached 3,350,265, reflecting a 68 percent growth compared to the same period last year. This positions China as one of Vietnam’s top tourism markets, contributing significantly to the recovery of the sector.

Chinese visitors are drawn to destinations such as Hanoi, Halong Bay, and Nha Trang for their rich cultural experiences and scenic beauty. Other popular locations include Danang and Phu Quoc, which attract visitors with their luxury resorts and pristine beaches.

Key airlines operating routes between Vietnam and China include Vietnam Airlines, China Southern Airlines, China Eastern Airlines, and VietJet Air. Direct flights from major Chinese cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou to Vietnamese hubs like Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City ensure convenient travel options.

The consistent growth in Chinese arrivals reflects the strengthening of bilateral ties and the effectiveness of Vietnam’s tourism marketing campaigns in China. This growth underscores Vietnam’s appeal as a preferred destination for Chinese tourists.
