Vietnam’s exports of ceramic products reached US$56.58 million in April 2025, according to figures released by Vietnam’s General Department of Customs. This represents an increase of 5.06 percent compared to March, with a year-to-date (YTD) export value of US$208.84 million.
USA remains the top export market despite a decrease:
The USA was the leading export market in April, with exports valued at US$13.16 million. This marks a decrease of 8.18 percent from March but still accounts for the largest share of the year-to-date exports at 26.45 percent.
Japan sees a slight decrease but remains a key market:
Japan was the second-largest export market in April, with exports valued at US$7.37 million, a decrease of 3.75 percent from the previous month. Japan accounts for 13.88 percent of the year-to-date exports.
Taiwan records moderate growth:
Exports to Taiwan experienced an increase of 5.90 percent in April, reaching US$5.67 million. Taiwan accounts for 9.89 percent of the year-to-date exports.
Thailand sees significant growth:
Exports to Thailand surged by 36.50 percent in April, reaching US$4.06 million, contributing 6.18 percent to the year-to-date total.
Significant month-on-month increases and decreases:
Argentina experienced the largest month-on-month increase at 652.62 percent, followed by Indonesia and Sweden. Conversely, Denmark experienced the most significant decrease at 63.53 percent, followed by Belgium and Myanmar.
