Electricity production in Vietnam up 2.1 percent in August over July
Of note, the bulk of that power has come from burning coal with hydropower plants being used as back up in order to avoid the power outages that plagued the northern provinces last year. Vietnam’s coffee exports climbed by 5.5 percent in August over July from US$381.2 million to US$402.2 million.
