Despite the overall month-on-month decrease, several countries remain vital destinations for Vietnam’s exports, with the year-to-date total for this product category standing at $5,113,099,716.
In June 2025, the top five destinations by dollar value for Vietnam’s exports of fishery products were:
China
China emerged as the top destination in June, with export values reaching $181,158,309.
This represents a -1.02 percent month-on-month change from May.
China’s year-to-date total for these exports stands at $1,004,276,027, accounting for 19.64 percent of all YTD exports in this category.
Japan
Japan followed as the second-largest destination, with June exports valued at $149,832,047.
This figure indicates a 6.66 percent month-on-month change.
Japan’s year-to-date total for these exports is $782,343,960, representing 15.30 percent of the total YTD exports for this product category.
USA
The USA secured the third position in June with exports totaling $131,724,149.
This indicates a -43.80 percent month-on-month change.
Its year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s exports of fishery products is $897,783,097, making up 17.56 percent of the total YTD exports.
South Korea
South Korea contributed $68,234,205 worth of fishery products in June.
Notably, South Korea experienced a -2.56 percent month-on-month decrease.
South Korea’s year-to-date total for these exports is $384,725,173, accounting for 7.52 percent of the total YTD exports for this product.
UK
The UK rounded out the top five export destinations with $32,913,505 in June exports.
This country showed strong positive momentum with a 15.67 percent month-on-month increase.
The UK’s year-to-date total for these exports is $152,921,675, representing 2.99 percent of the total YTD exports for this category.
