Vietnam imported US$408.36 million worth of animal fodder and animal fodder materials in April, up 10.96 percent from March, according to the latest data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs. Total year-to-date imports reached US$1.57 billion, with Argentina, Brazil and India as the top suppliers.
Country highlights:
Argentina remained the largest supplier in April, with exports worth US$187.21 million, accounting for 43.5 percent of total YTD imports.
India followed with US$41.37 million in April and a year-to-date total of US$152.35 million, making it Vietnam’s second-largest supplier.
Brazil exported US$23.95 million in April, down 19.16 percent from March, bringing its YTD total to US$112.4 million.
China supplied US$19.46 million in April, up 31.58 percent month-on-month.
Canada saw a 50.59 percent MoM increase to reach US$10.46 million.
Indonesia supplied US$7.17 million in April, up 10.56 percent.
Thailand delivered US$5.97 million, rising 23.75 percent from March.
