Vietnam recorded 116,971 tourist arrivals from the Americas in February, accounting for 6.2 percent of total international visitors, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Tourism. This marks a 2.24 percent decline from January, though the year-to-date total reached 236,627 visitors, making up 6.0 percent of overall arrivals.
The United States remained the largest source of tourists from the Americas, with 87,676 arrivals, reflecting a 5.25 percent drop from January. Canada, however, saw a 16.85 percent month-on-month increase, with 21,950 visitors. The “Other Americas” category recorded 7,345 arrivals, representing an 11.86 percent decline compared to the previous month.
Despite the slight dip in February, Vietnam continues to attract American tourists, particularly for cultural tourism, beach destinations, and business-related travel.
