China
China was the top origin in July, with import values reaching $88,523,844.
This represents a significant 38.90 percent month-on-month increase from June.
China’s year-to-date total for these imports stands at $490,719,885, accounting for 33.86 percent of all YTD imports in this category.
USA
The USA followed as the second-largest origin, with July imports valued at $56,427,840.
This figure indicates a 14.09 percent month-on-month increase.
The USA’s year-to-date total for these imports is $353,112,947, representing 24.37 percent of the total YTD imports for this product category.
Other
The “Other” category secured the third position in July with imports totaling $26,432,357.
This indicates a 4.33 percent month-on-month increase.
The year-to-date contribution for this category is $149,022,204, making up 10.28 percent of the total YTD imports.
New Zealand
New Zealand contributed $18,202,572 worth of fruits and vegetables in July.
Notably, New Zealand experienced a -23.01 percent month-on-month decrease.
New Zealand’s year-to-date total for these imports is $83,179,237, accounting for 5.74 percent of the total YTD imports for this product.
Australia
Australia rounded out the top five import origins with $15,951,550 in July imports.
This country saw a significant 41.47 percent month-on-month increase.
