This positive month-on-month growth contributed to a year-to-date total for this product category, standing at $2,671,798,796.
In July 2025, the top five origins by dollar value for Vietnam’s imports of animal fodders and animal fodder materials were:
Argentina
Argentina was the top origin in July, with import values reaching $114,228,859.
This represents a 12.16 percent month-on-month increase from June.
Argentina’s year-to-date total for these imports stands at $1,051,123,835, accounting for 39.34 percent of all YTD imports in this category.
USA
The USA followed as the second-largest origin, with July imports valued at $52,634,956.
This figure indicates a -26.77 percent month-on-month decrease.
The USA’s year-to-date total for these imports is $447,314,572, representing 16.74 percent of the total YTD imports for this product category.
Brazil
Brazil secured the third position in July with imports totaling $35,520,434.
This indicates a 37.05 percent month-on-month increase.
Its year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s imports of animal fodders and animal fodder materials is $336,950,330, making up 12.61 percent of the total YTD imports.
China
China contributed $32,470,967 worth of animal fodders and animal fodder materials in July.
Notably, China experienced a -3.10 percent month-on-month decrease.
China’s year-to-date total for these imports is $198,907,588, accounting for 7.44 percent of the total YTD imports for this product.
India
India rounded out the top five import origins with $20,472,687 in July imports.
This country saw a significant 53.80 percent month-on-month increase.
India’s year-to-date total for these imports is $94,228,513, representing 3.53 percent of the total YTD imports for this category.
