The VN-Index closed at 1,798.61, down 5.10 points or 0.28 percent, with a total trading value of VND 10,132.94 billion or US$384.55 million, and foreign traders net-selling US$19.13 million worth of equities, Thursday, according to the latest data from the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange.

On June 11, in Vietnam, the black market US dollar buy rate was VND 26,370, and the sell rate was VND 26,400, unchanged from yesterday, according to prices quoted by Ty Gia USD.
Coal production in Vietnam down 5.75 percent in May 2026
Vietnam produced 3,952.01 thousand tonnes of coal in May, down 5.75 percent from 4,193.18 thousand tonnes in April 2026, according to the latest data from the National Statistics Office.

Vietnam Raises US$302.8 million in June 10 Government Bond Auction
Vietnam’s State Treasury raised VND 7.98 trillion (approximately US$302.8 million) through a government bond auction on June 10, representing 46.9 percent of the VND 17 trillion (US$645.2 million) offered across five tenors, according to a release from the Vietnam Bond Market Association.
