The VN-Index closed at 1,806.63, up 6.09 points or 0.34 percent, with a total trading value of VND 14,261.57 billion or US$541.24 million, and foreign traders net-selling US$7.36 million worth of equities, Tuesday, according to the latest data from the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange.
The VN30 closed at 1,946.06, up 6.22 points or 0.32 percent, with a total trading value of VND 8,779.84 billion or US$333.20 million.
The VNMIDCAP closed at 2,023.79, up 21.84 points or 1.09 percent, with a total trading value of VND 4,495.26 billion or US$170.60 million.

HPG followed in second place with 224,819 million shares changing hands, worth VND 500,298 million, with the stock climbing 0.45 percent to VND 22,500.
VIX followed closely with 219,920 million shares traded, to the tune of VND 323,819 million. Its stock price climbed 0.34 percent to VND 14,700.
BSR was fourth with 186,067 million shares changing hands, worth VND 499,489 million. At the end of the day it was up 5.63 percent to VND 27,200.
