The VN30 closed at 2,041.40, up 29.98 points or 1.49 percent, with a total trading value of VND 11,214.66 billion or US$425.60 million.
The VNMIDCAP closed at 2,182.07, down 24.37 points or 1.10 percent, with a total trading value of VND 6,975.93 billion or US$264.74 million.
