Vietnam’s precious stones and metals exports rise by 19.40 percent in February 2025

Vietnam’s exports of precious stones, precious metals, and related articles increased by 19.40 percent in February compared to January, reaching US$52.31 million, according to data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.

Vietnam’s total exports in this category for 2025 amount to US$96.13 million, showing significant demand in international markets.

The rise in exports was driven by a strong increase in shipments to the USA, which surged by 51.89 percent, amounting to US$20.34 million. Exports to France also saw a notable rise of 72.33 percent. Additionally, exports to Thailand experienced significant growth, increasing by 131.11 percent.

However, some markets experienced a decline. Exports to South Korea and Belgium dropped by 23.69 percent and 21.90 percent, respectively.
