Vietnam exported petroleum products worth US$117.75 million in March, a 65.74 percent increase from February, according to data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
This brought the total year-to-date value to US$263.56 million. China was the largest market, importing US$39.04 million, followed closely by Singapore and South Korea. Exports to China and Singapore rose sharply by 179.30 percent and 139.56 percent respectively.
Malaysia also saw a substantial increase of 183.73 percent, while exports to Laos fell by 48.08 percent. No exports were recorded to Hong Kong or Thailand in March.
