In November, Vietnam’s exports of petroleum products fell by 15.1 percent compared to October, reaching US$144.99 million, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs. Year-to-date exports amounted to US$1.76 billion, reflecting the sector’s consistent contribution to Vietnam’s overall export portfolio.
Cambodia emerged as the top importer, accounting for US$23.77 million in November, an increase of 23.01 percent month-on-month. South Korea followed with imports of US$14.22 million, a decline of 18.35 percent, while China registered a steep drop of 55.22 percent, with imports totalling US$10.24 million. Singapore recorded a sharp decline of 64.65 percent, importing only US$7.79 million.
Vietnam’s petroleum exports reflect volatility in global energy markets, with declines across several key partners. However, Cambodia’s growing imports provided some stability for the sector.
