Vietnam’s production of paper and paper products increased by 1.3 percent in December compared to November, according to Vietnam’s Industrial Production Index.
Year-on-year, the sector grew by 9.7 percent in December compared to December 2023. For the full year, cumulative growth stood at 9.5 percent in 2024 compared to 2023, reflecting consistent progress in this essential industry.
The December monthly growth highlights stable demand during the year-end period, supported by rising domestic consumption and export opportunities. The annual growth figures showcase the sector’s resilience in meeting increasing demand for packaging materials and other paper products, especially from industries such as e-commerce and manufacturing.
