Vietnam’s exports of ores and other minerals products jumped by 277.11 percent in February 2025 compared to January, totalling US$30.13 million, according to data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
Vietnam’s ores and other minerals product exports total US$38.22 million for 2025, with China being the largest market, accounting for nearly half of the total exports.
The jump in overall exports was from strong growth in shipments to China, which increased by 548.97 percent, amounting to US$14.65 million. Other markets such as Malaysia, Taiwan, and Thailand also saw positive growth. Exports to Malaysia grew by 43.82 percent, while exports to Taiwan and Thailand increased by 21.31 percent and 145.54 percent, respectively. However, exports to South Korea and Indonesia showed declines, and Japan’s exports began strong this year.
