Vietnam’s non-wood furniture exports increased by 12.88 percent in December compared to November, reaching US$369.81 million, according to data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
Vietnam’s non-wood furniture exports total US$3.41 billion for 2024, reflecting strong demand.
The rise in exports was primarily driven by growth in shipments to China, which saw a 20.35 percent increase, amounting to US$1.09 million. Exports to Italy, Australia, and Saudi Arabia also showed positive growth, with increases of 39.79 percent, 1.51 percent, and 16.20 percent, respectively.
However, some markets experienced a decline. Exports to Taiwan, Cambodia, and Norway dropped by 34.58 percent, 3.46 percent, and 8.12 percent, respectively.
