Vietnam’s motorbike production has seen strong growth in the first two months of 2025. According to the latest data from Vietnam’s General Office of Statistics, the country produced 235,300 thousand motorbikes in January 2025. In February, this figure increased to 266,300 thousand motorbikes.
The cumulative total for the first two months of the year reached 501.6 thousand motorbikes. This represents a 63.7 percent increase compared to the same period last year. Furthermore, the year-to-date figure reflects a 17.9 percent increase when compared to the first two months of 2024, indicating continued growth in the motorbike sector.
Motorbike production remains a key component of Vietnam’s transportation sector, with increasing demand both domestically and for export.
The main motorbike production areas in Vietnam are concentrated in the northern and southern regions, particularly in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, where several large manufacturers operate their production facilities.
