Vietnam’s exports of manioc and manioc products increased by 20.63 percent in December compared to November, reaching US$109.48 million, according to data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
Vietnam’s manioc and manioc products exports total US$1.16 billion for 2024.
The rise in exports was primarily driven by significant growth in shipments to China, which saw a 19.15 percent increase, amounting to US$102.05 million. Exports to Taiwan and the Philippines also showed positive growth, with increases of 46.16 percent and 215.81 percent, respectively.
However, some markets experienced a decline. Exports to South Korea and Malaysia dropped by 45.55 percent and 20.95 percent, respectively.
