Vietnam’s exports of manioc and manioc products jumped by 35.42 percent in February 2025 compared to January, reaching US$134.52 million, according to data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
Vietnam’s manioc and manioc products exports total US$233.70 million for 2025, with China accounting for the vast majority of the exports.
The jump in exports was primarily driven by an increase in shipments to China, which, as the dominant market, saw a 37.13 percent increase in February to US$127.11 million. Smaller markets such as South Korea, the Philippines, and Japan saw significant declines in exports. However, Malaysia and Taiwan reported strong growth, with exports to Malaysia increasing by 180.18 percent and Taiwan starting strong in the year with US$1.41 million in exports.
