Vietnam’s exports of insulated wires and cables reached US$311.93 million in October, marking a 10.7 percent increase compared to September, which recorded US$281.70 million. The growth reflects steady demand for Vietnam’s high-quality electrical components, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
Year-to-date figures show modest growth. From January to October, the sector’s exports totalled US$2.88 billion, a 3.3 percent increase compared to the same period in 2023.
The consistent demand highlights Vietnam’s role as a reliable supplier in the global electrical industry. While October’s performance indicates a positive trend, the modest year-to-date growth suggests room for improvement, particularly in diversifying markets and increasing production capacity to meet global demand.
