Vietnam’s insulated wires and cables exports rise by 3.81 percent in December

Vietnam’s exports of insulated wires and cables increased by 3.81 percent in December compared to November, reaching US$316.73 million, according to data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.

Vietnam’s exports of insulated wires and cables total US$3.5 billion for 2024.

The rise in exports was driven by significant growth in shipments to the USA, which saw a 14.18 percent increase, amounting to US$101.43 million. Exports to Australia also showed strong growth, increasing by 47.99 percent, reaching US$4.21 million.

However, some markets experienced a decline. Exports to China, South Korea, and Singapore dropped by 11.93 percent, 5.74 percent, and 14.39 percent, respectively.
