Vietnam’s imports of insulated wires and cables rise by 21.22 percent in March

Vietnam’s imports of insulated wires and cables surged to US$373.16 million in March, marking a 21.22 percent increase from February. Year-to-date (YTD) imports for this category reached US$994.38 million, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.

China was the largest supplier, contributing US$257.21 million, a 30.10 percent increase compared to February. South Korea followed with US$36.40 million, representing a 5.67 percent growth. Japan also saw an increase of 7.73 percent to US$12.83 million. In contrast, countries like Singapore and Germany experienced notable declines in imports, with Singapore’s imports falling by 59.84 percent and Germany’s dropping by 27.72 percent.
