Vietnam’s glass and glassware exports up in October

Vietnam’s exports of glass and glassware saw moderate growth in October 2024, with export value reaching US$104.31 million. This represents a 4.2 percent increase compared to September, when the sector earned US$100.12 million, indicating steady demand for these products, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs

Year-to-date figures highlight substantial growth. From January to October, glass and glassware exports totalled US$971.86 million, a significant 43.5 percent increase compared to the same period in 2023.

The robust year-to-date growth underscores Vietnam’s rising competitiveness in the global glass and glassware market, driven by increasing production capacity and a focus on quality.
