Vietnam’s exports of glass and glassware saw moderate growth in October 2024, with export value reaching US$104.31 million. This represents a 4.2 percent increase compared to September, when the sector earned US$100.12 million, indicating steady demand for these products, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs
Year-to-date figures highlight substantial growth. From January to October, glass and glassware exports totalled US$971.86 million, a significant 43.5 percent increase compared to the same period in 2023.
The robust year-to-date growth underscores Vietnam’s rising competitiveness in the global glass and glassware market, driven by increasing production capacity and a focus on quality. October’s performance, while moderate, reinforces the sector’s steady contribution to Vietnam’s export economy and its potential for continued growth in the international market.
