Vietnam’s glass and glassware exports rise by 5.02 percent in December

Vietnam’s exports of glass and glassware increased by 5.02 percent in December compared to November, reaching US$109.51 million, according to data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.

Vietnam’s glass and glassware exports total US$1.19 billion for 2024.

The rise in exports was driven by significant growth in shipments to Canada, which saw a 238.55 percent increase, amounting to US$3.60 million. Exports to the USA and Singapore also showed strong growth, increasing by 14.95 percent and 7.15 percent, respectively.

However, some markets experienced a decline. Exports to Japan, Malaysia, and Thailand dropped by 80.57 percent, 21.33 percent, and 15.99 percent, respectively.
