Vietnam’s glass and glassware exports in November 2024 totalled US$104.27 million, showing minimal change compared to October, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs. Year-to-date exports reached US$1.08 billion, reflecting the sustained global demand for these products.
Singapore emerged as the largest market, with imports of US$50.61 million, though this marked a 7.68 percent decline month-on-month. Exports to the United States stood at US$18.98 million, a slight 4.53 percent drop from October. Japan recorded a significant surge, with imports increasing by 286.93 percent to US$5.91 million. In contrast, Malaysia experienced a 15.66 percent decrease in imports, amounting to US$4.84 million.
The sector demonstrates resilience, supported by stable demand in key markets and strong year-to-date performance, positioning Vietnam as a competitive player in the glass and glassware industry.
