Vietnam’s production of beds, cabinets, tables, and chairs increased by 2 percent in December 2024 compared to November 2024, according to Vietnam’s Industrial Production Index.
Year-on-year, the sector grew by 14.5 percent in December 2024 compared to December 2023. For the full year of 2024, cumulative growth reached a remarkable 23.8 percent compared to 2023, highlighting exceptional annual performance in this vital industry.
The monthly increase reflects consistent demand for furniture during the holiday season, while the strong year-on-year and annual growth underscore Vietnam’s position as a leading furniture exporter. The sector has benefitted from rising global demand, particularly from key markets like the United States, Europe, and Asia.
