Vietnam’s exports of fishery products reached US$1.02 billion in October 2024, a 10.9 percent increase compared to September’s US$921.93 million. This growth reflects rising demand for Vietnam’s seafood products in international markets, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
Year-to-date figures also show consistent growth. From January to October, Vietnam’s fishery exports totalled US$8.25 billion, representing a 10.9 percent increase compared to the same period in 2023.
The steady year-to-date growth highlights the resilience of Vietnam’s fishery sector, supported by its diverse product offerings and strong global market presence. October’s increase further reinforces the sector’s pivotal role in the country’s export performance and its potential for sustained expansion in the coming months.
