Vietnam’s fertilizers exports rise by 21.58 percent in December

Vietnam’s exports of fertilisers increased by 21.58 percent in December compared to November, reaching US$65.45 million, according to data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.

Vietnam’s exports of fertilisers total US$709.91 million for 2024, reflecting strong performance across multiple markets.

The month-on-month increase was driven by significant growth in exports to Malaysia, which saw a remarkable 241.07 percent rise, amounting to US$5.63 million. Exports to South Korea also showed strong growth, increasing by 38.78 percent, reaching US$12.95 million. Other key markets such as Taiwan and Japan also saw positive growth, with exports rising by 181.99 percent and 129.62 percent, respectively.

However, some markets experienced a decline. Exports to Laos and Myanmar dropped by 55.32 percent and 82.22 percent, respectively. Exports to Cambodia and the Philippines also showed a decrease of 4.06 percent and 4.65 percent, respectively.
