Vietnam’s fertiliser exports rise in October, year-to-date figures show steady growth

Vietnam’s fertiliser exports grew in October, with export volumes reaching 147,489 tonnes, valued at US$59.81 million. This marks a 15.5 percent increase in volume and a 15.4 percent rise in value compared to September, which recorded 127,651 tonnes and US$51.84 million.

Year-to-date figures also highlight positive performance. From January to October, Vietnam exported 1.44 million tonnes of fertilisers, generating US$590.54 million in value. This represents a 10.9 percent increase in volume and a 9.4 percent rise in value compared to the same period in 2023.

The consistent growth reflects strong international demand for Vietnam’s fertiliser products, supported by competitive pricing and quality. October’s uptick underscores the sector’s potential for further expansion, contributing steadily to the country’s export portfolio.
