Vietnam’s ferrous waste and scrap imports decline by 1.06 percent in March

Vietnam’s imports of ferrous waste and scrap decreased by 1.06 percent in March, totalling US$169.97 million. The year-to-date (YTD) total reached US$444.76 million, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.

Japan remained the largest supplier, although imports fell by 26.33 percent, amounting to US$90.44 million. The USA followed with US$13.37 million, a decrease of 26.74 percent, while Hong Kong saw a 34.57 percent rise, reaching US$12.68 million.
