Vietnam’s exports to Thailand fell by 6.59 percent in November, reaching US$1.11 billion compared to US$1.19 billion in October, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
On a year-on-year basis, exports to Thailand displayed mixed trends across key product categories. “Other products” grew by 17.68 percent month-on-month, contributing US$147.8 million, while exports of petroleum products plunged by 20.93 percent. Motor vehicles saw a notable 14.50 percent decline, while computers, electrical products, and spare-parts dipped 7.41 percent to US$112.8 million.
Machinery and equipment recorded modest growth of 2.43 percent, while parts and accessories of motor vehicles fell sharply by 24.77 percent. Plastics and chemical products faced marginal declines, reflecting fluctuations in industrial demand.
Vietnam’s export performance to Thailand underscores shifting dynamics in key manufacturing and energy sectors, influenced by regional trade conditions.
