Vietnam’s exports of ceramic products increased by 15.86 percent in December compared to November, reaching US$73.18 million, according to data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
Vietnam’s exports of ceramic products total US$674.4 million for 2024, reflecting a strong performance in the sector.
The month-on-month increase was driven by significant growth in exports to the USA, which saw an 18.08 percent rise, reaching US$22.29 million. Other key markets like Japan, the Philippines, and Thailand also showed positive growth, with exports increasing by 9.20 percent, 77.60 percent, and 64.93 percent, respectively. Exports to Taiwan showed a slight decline of 1.55 percent, reaching US$5.50 million.
However, some markets experienced a decline. Exports to the UK and France dropped by 36.85 percent and 36.69 percent, respectively, while exports to South Korea remained relatively stable with a 0.11 percent increase.
