Vietnam’s exports of other base metals and base metal products totalled US$344.82 million in November, reflecting a 4.2 percent increase compared to October, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs. The year-to-date exports reached US$3.82 billion, underscoring the steady performance of this sector.
The United States remained the largest importer, purchasing US$66.03 million, a growth of 4.7 percent month-on-month. India followed with US$47.08 million, slightly decreasing by 1.89 percent. Exports to China surged by 31.77 percent to reach US$42.19 million. South Korea and Japan imported US$29.59 million and US$29.09 million, respectively, while Taiwan saw a significant rise of 19.17 percent, importing US$15.65 million.
Vietnam’s robust performance in this segment highlights its competitiveness and its ability to cater to diverse international markets.
