Vietnam’s coal exports increased by 65.24 percent in December compared to November, reaching US$18.73 million, according to data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.

Vietnam’s exports of coal total US$161.13 million for 2024.

The month-on-month increase was driven by significant growth in exports to Thailand, which saw a 1480.61 percent rise, amounting to US$1.05 million.
