Vietnam’s ceramic exports surge in October, year-to-date growth remains steady

Vietnam’s exports of ceramic products saw a strong rise in October 2024, with export value reaching US$63.23 million. This represents a 27.9 percent increase compared to US$49.45 million in September, reflecting heightened demand or improved trade dynamics for the month, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.

Year-to-date figures also show consistent growth. From January to October, ceramic exports totalled US$537.78 million, an 8.6 percent increase compared to the same period in 2023.

The October surge highlights the sector’s potential for expansion, supported by Vietnam’s reputation for quality ceramic goods. Steady year-to-date growth further cements ceramics as a significant contributor to Vietnam’s export portfolio, with opportunities for continued success in the global market.
