Vietnam’s cashew nut exports in November reached US$396.58 million, reflecting a 6.6 percent decline month-on-month, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs. Despite this dip, the year-to-date export value stood at US$3.98 billion, highlighting sustained demand in key markets.
China topped the list of importers with US$95.43 million in November, a significant 27.32 percent increase compared to the previous month. The United States followed closely with US$93.14 million, although this represented an 8.96 percent decrease. The Netherlands imported US$34.15 million, marking an 18.29 percent decline, while the UAE experienced a sharp drop of 53.14 percent, importing US$14.53 million.
The data indicates mixed performance across Vietnam’s primary export destinations, with demand surging in China but waning in other key regions like the UAE and the United States. However, Vietnam remains a dominant player in the global cashew nut trade.
