Vietnam’s camera imports rose 12 percent in March

Vietnam imported US$186.64 million worth of still image, video cameras and parts thereof in March, a 12.29 percent increase from February, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs. This brought the year-to-date total to US$531.45 million.

China remained the leading supplier with US$99.56 million in shipments, up 24.28 percent month-on-month. Imports from South Korea surged 52.12 percent, while those from the USA and UK declined by over 20 percent. Taiwan remained the second-largest source despite a 13.08 percent drop.
