Vietnam’s exports of animal fodders and animal fodder materials saw a notable increase in October, with export value reaching US$97.05 million. This marks a 22.6 percent growth compared to US$79.13 million in September, reflecting a strong recovery in export performance for the month.
However, the sector continues to face challenges on a broader scale. Year-to-date export values from January to October totalled US$850.28 million, a 16 percent decline compared to the same period in 2023.
While the October rebound offers hope for recovery, the year-to-date decline underscores the need for Vietnam’s exporters to address underlying issues to stabilise and strengthen the sector’s performance in the global market.
