Vietnam welcomed 1,711,512 international tourists in November, representing a month-on-month increase of 291,679 visitors or 20.54 percent, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Tourism.
Year-to-date, the country has recorded 15,836,661 arrivals, marking a year-on-year increase of 38.8 percent. Asian visitors dominated the figures, contributing 1,357,769 arrivals in November, up by 19.85 percent. Europe followed with 206,168 arrivals, showing a 27.49 percent increase, while the Americas saw a 24.8 percent rise with 95,087 visitors.
The surge reflects Vietnam’s strong recovery as a tourism hub, aided by strategic marketing campaigns and eased travel restrictions. Notable growth from regions like Asia and Europe highlights the appeal of Vietnam’s offerings, while consistent numbers from markets like the Americas bolster diversification.
Vietnam’s tourism industry is regaining momentum, with robust monthly increases driving it closer to pre-pandemic levels.
