Vietnam-Brazil trade relations
Vietnam and Brazil established diplomatic relations in 1989, with trade ties developing gradually as Vietnam expanded its global trade network following the Doi Moi reforms.
Bilateral trade has grown mainly through agricultural and industrial goods, and while there is no dedicated free trade agreement, Vietnam has engaged Brazil through discussions between ASEAN and Mercosur to explore longer-term trade cooperation.
