ToggleVietnam exported coffee to the tune of US$672 million in February, down from US$1,081 million in January, a change of -37.89 percent, according to preliminary data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
Year to date, Vietnam had exported US$1,755 million worth of coffee by the end of February.
Germany accounted for US$112 million worth of Vietnam’s coffee exports in February. This was down from US$175 million in coffee exports in January, a change of -36.03 percent. Year to date, Vietnam has shipped US$288 million worth of coffee to Germany.
After Germany was Italy making up US$71 million worth of Vietnam’s coffee exports in February. This was down from US$80 million in coffee exports in January, a change of -11.73 percent. Year to date, Vietnam has shipped US$151 million worth of coffee to Italy.
Next was Spain taking US$52 million worth of Vietnam’s coffee exports in February. This was down from US$81 million in coffee exports in January, a change of -35.63 percent. Year to date, Vietnam has shipped US$133 million worth of coffee to Spain.
Following Spain was the USA representing US$47 million worth of Vietnam’s coffee exports in February. This was down from US$61 million in coffee exports in January, a change of -22.56 percent. Year to date, Vietnam has shipped US$107 million worth of coffee to USA.
Rounding out the top five was Russia constituting US$40 million worth of Vietnam’s coffee exports in February. This was down from US$66 million in coffee exports in January, a change of -38.84 percent. Year to date, Vietnam has shipped US$106 million worth of coffee to Russia.

Key coffee firms listed on the Vietnam stock exchange include:
Long An Food Processing Export JSC
Long An Food Processing Export JSC (LAF) processes and exports cashew nuts, coffee, and agricultural products.
LAF closed at VND 19,200 on Monday, down 0.25 percent with 154,000 shares traded, worth VND 279 million.
Foreign ownership in LAF is currently capped at 50.0 percent, with current foreign ownership sitting at 2.4 percent.
Vinacafe Bien Hoa JSC
Vinacafe Bien Hoa JSC (VCF) processes and distributes instant coffee and beverage products under the Vinacafe brand.
VCF closed at VND 300,100 on Monday, down 16.9 percent with 50,000 shares traded, worth VND 1,508 million.
Foreign ownership in VCF is currently capped at 49.0 percent, with current foreign ownership sitting at 0.5 percent.

Highlands Coffee moves toward 2027 IPO
Jollibee Foods Corp said its subsidiary Highlands Coffee is evaluating plans for a standalone initial public offering in Vietnam by the first quarter of 2027.
The company said it has engaged international and local advisers and begun preparing the structure and regulatory process for the potential offering.

Vietnam is the world’s second-largest coffee producer and the leading exporter of robusta beans, supplying a significant share of global coffee markets.
Coffee cultivation is concentrated in the Central Highlands provinces, including Dak Lak, Lam Dong, Gia Lai and Dak Nong.
