Vietnam’s ceramics exports fell 13.1 percent in September over August from US$56.9 million to US$49.4 million. Vietnam’s ceramics exports for the year now stand at US$474.5 million which represents an increase of 7.9 percent over the same period last year.
Of note:
- The USA remained the largest market, with exports of US$12.72 million, a 10.18 percent month-on-month drop. Year-to-date, the USA accounted for US$121.67 million, making it Vietnam’s top ceramics export destination.
- Taiwan experienced a significant drop, with exports decreasing by 32.51 percent month-on-month to US$4.91 million. Despite this, Taiwan’s year-to-date value remained significant at US$54.77 million.
- The UK saw the highest growth, increasing by 32.13 percent to US$1.76 million. Year-to-date exports to the UK totalled US$20.84 million.
