On April 21, in Vietnam, the black market US dollar buy rate was VND 26,600, and the sell rate was VND 26,650, a change of 30 and 20, respectively, for a mid-market rate of VND 26,625 (down 0.09 percent), according to prices quoted by Ty Gia USD.
Meanwhile, the State Bank of Vietnam’s central exchange rate was set at VND 25,102, while the Google Finance mid-market rate stood at VND 26,328.
The spread between the SBV’s central exchange rate and black-market mid-market rates was VND 1,523 or 6.07 percent.

Interbank interest rates
Vietnam’s interbank interest rates rose across most tenors.
The overnight rate increased to 3.98 percent (up 0.10 points).
The 1-week rate rose to 4.94 percent, and the 2-week rate rose to 6.45 percent.
The 1-month rate increased to 7.26 percent, while the 3-month and 6-month rates fell to 7.57 and 7.24 percent respectively.
The 9-month tenor was unchanged at 8.30 percent.
