Tourists arriving in Vietnam from Europe up 35.1% in January 2026 / from UK +33.6%, Germany +19.8%

In January, Europe accounted for 423,988 tourist arrivals, an increase of 35.10 percent from December, according to the latest data from Vietnam’s General Department of Tourism.

Germany accounted for 33,037 tourist arrivals in January, up 19.80 percent compared to December.

A total of 125,449 tourists arrived from Russia in January, an increase of 29.50 percent from December.

In January, France sent 35,101 visitors, up 22.80 percent compared with December.

Arrivals from Spain reached 7,493 in Jan 26, falling -3.80 percent relative to December.

Tourist numbers from the UK totalled 41,119 in Jan 26, showing a rise of 33.60 percent versus December.
