Tourists arriving in Vietnam from Asia up 7.8 percent in November

In November, Asia accounted for 1,477,295 tourist arrivals, an increase of 7.40 percent from October, according to the latest data from Vietnam’s General Department of Tourism.

China accounted for 467,090 tourist arrivals in November, up 7.80 percent compared to October.

A total of 343,998 tourists arrived from Korea in November, a decline of -4.70 percent from October.

In November, Taiwan sent 100,149 visitors, down -6.30 percent compared with October.

Arrivals from Japan reached 75,441 in November, rising 24.00 percent relative to October.

Tourist numbers from India totalled 80,878 in November, showing a rise of 15.00 percent versus October.
