Vietnam recorded 25,970 tourist arrivals from Russia in November, marking a month-on-month increase of 7,542 visitors or 40.93 percent, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Tourism.
Year-to-date, Russian arrivals reached 203,780, reflecting a remarkable 89.1 percent growth compared to the same period last year. Russia remains a significant source market for Vietnam, showcasing strong demand for leisure travel.
Russian tourists are primarily drawn to Vietnam’s beach destinations such as Nha Trang, Phu Quoc, and Mui Ne, known for their tropical appeal and luxury resorts. Cultural hubs like Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi also attract visitors seeking a mix of historical and urban experiences.
Direct flights between Moscow and Vietnam, operated by Vietnam Airlines and Russian carriers such as Aeroflot, facilitate seamless travel for Russian tourists. Additional charter flights to popular coastal destinations further support the steady influx of visitors.
The substantial rise in Russian tourist arrivals underscores Vietnam’s continued appeal as a top leisure destination, supported by warm bilateral ties and strategic connectivity.
