China
China emerged as the top supplier in June, with import values reaching $83,647,149.
This represents a -4.52 percent month-on-month change from May.
China’s year-to-date total for these imports stands at $437,786,027, accounting for 74.09 percent of all YTD imports in this category.
Indonesia
Indonesia followed as the second-largest source, with June imports valued at $6,395,866.
This figure indicates a 49.80 percent month-on-month change.
Indonesia’s year-to-date total for these imports is $22,668,383, representing 3.84 percent of the total YTD imports for this product category.
South Korea
South Korea secured the third position in June with imports totaling $5,667,580.
This indicates a 9.70 percent month-on-month change.
Its year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s imports of paper products is $27,721,801, making up 4.69 percent of the total YTD imports.
Thailand
Thailand contributed $5,084,106 worth of paper products in June.
Notably, Thailand experienced a 14.70 percent month-on-month increase.
Thailand’s year-to-date total for these imports is $31,156,924, accounting for 5.27 percent of the total YTD imports for this product.
Japan
Japan rounded out the top five import sources with $4,486,111 in June imports.
This country showed strong positive momentum with a 14.08 percent month-on-month increase.
Japan’s year-to-date total for these imports is $23,748,435, representing 4.02 percent of the total YTD imports for this category.
