This positive month-on-month growth contributed to a year-to-date total for this product category, standing at $9,646,872,299.
In July 2025, the top five destinations by dollar value for Vietnam’s exports of wood and wooden products were:
USA
The USA was the top destination in July, with export values reaching $843,731,819.
This represents an 8.40 percent month-on-month increase from June.
The USA’s year-to-date total for these exports stands at $5,405,987,501, accounting for 56.04 percent of all YTD exports in this category.
Japan
Japan followed as the second-largest destination, with July exports valued at $181,697,021.
This figure indicates a 17.61 percent month-on-month increase.
Japan’s year-to-date total for these exports is $1,197,877,731, representing 12.42 percent of the total YTD exports for this product category.
China
China secured the third position in July with exports totaling $174,666,606.
This indicates a 4.21 percent month-on-month increase.
Its year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s exports of wood and wooden products is $1,048,110,872, making up 10.86 percent of the total YTD exports.
South Korea
South Korea contributed $62,248,613 worth of these products in July.
Notably, South Korea experienced a 12.43 percent month-on-month increase.
South Korea’s year-to-date total for these exports is $433,042,711, accounting for 4.49 percent of the total YTD exports for this product.
Canada
Canada rounded out the top five export destinations with $23,600,479 in July exports.
This country saw a 3.53 percent month-on-month increase.
Canada’s year-to-date total for these exports is $159,614,950, representing 1.65 percent of the total YTD exports for this category.
